Prefrontal Power Cards (8 Cards)

Play to Neutralize Flares

PFC Skill 1 Somatic

4-4-4 Box Breathing

In-Game Effect: Instantly neutralizes any flare card into the Victory Vault.

PFC Skill 2 Cognitive

5-Second Tactical Delay

Count backward silently: "5... 4... 3... 2... 1" in your head before speaking when you feel sudden anger flare up.

In-Game Effect: Cancels 1 Meltdown tick and lets team draw 1 extra card.

PFC Skill 3 Vision

10-Minute Time Travel

Ask yourself: "If I scream or throw something right now, how will I feel in 10 minutes? Will I be in trouble?"

In-Game Effect: Neutralizes any Taunt or Rule Clash scenario card immediately.

PFC Skill 4 Physical

Fist Clench & Melt

Squeeze your hands into tight fists for 3 seconds, then release them completely and let your shoulders drop.

In-Game Effect: Releases body adrenaline. Clears 1 tick from Meltdown Card.

PFC Skill 5 Voice

The Curiosity Question

Instead of shouting an accusation, ask with a calm voice: "Can you explain how you figured out that move?"

In-Game Effect: Neutralizes Accusation cards and banks +1 bonus Victory Point.

PFC Skill 6 Reset

Water Sip Reset

Call an official 15-second cool-down timeout to sit tall, roll your shoulders back, and drink water.

In-Game Effect: Team pause: lowers group Meltdown Meter by 1 full level.

PFC Skill 7 Reframe

Perspective Reframe

Say out loud: "It is just a card game. Losing a point does not make me a loser. I can still enjoy playing."

In-Game Effect: Blocks negative self-talk; protects against next 2 bad draws.

PFC Skill 8 Ally

Teammate Brain Boost

Notice a teammate starting to get mad, and say: "Hey, you got this. Take a breath, we can solve this together."
