Present the slides. Explore kindness, listening, honesty, sharing, and forgiveness. Ask: "What does this ingredient look like in action?" Encourage personal anecdotes.

Brainstorming Our Own Recipes
Hand out the Project Guide. Model an example: "2 cups of kindness, a dash of honesty." Students brainstorm 3-5 of their own essential ingredients.

Make it pop! Give your book a super creative title like "[Your Name]'s Secret Recipe for Super Friends!" or "The Friend Chef's Guide."

Choose Your Ingredients (15 min)
Choose the 3-5 most important qualities for a strong friendship. These are your ingredients!

Write Your Recipe Pages (20 min)
For each ingredient you chose, dedicate one full page in your book.
Illustrate the Ingredient
On each page, you must:
Write the name (e.g., "1 Cup of Kindness")
Draw a picture of that ingredient in action.
Write 1-2 sentences explaining why it's important.

Mixing Instructions (15 min)
On a new page, explain how to combine these ingredients! These are actions you take to make the friendship work.
"Example: Stir in lots of laughter daily and mix with gentle words. Serve with a smile and forgive often!"
