Opening Question: Ask "What does stress feel like to you? Imagine it as a 'Stress Monster'—what does it look like, sound like, or make you feel?"
Normalization: Explain that everyone experiences stress, and this lesson provides tools to 'tame' it.
Set the Stage: Introduce the goal: "Today, we're going to learn some quick and easy ways to feel calmer when things get tough."

Sometimes stress pops up unexpectedly, and you need a quick way to feel better. These techniques can be used almost anywhere, anytime! Let's practice them.
1. The 4-7-8 Breath
Breathing Strategy

Inhale (Nose)

Hold Breath

When to use it:
Before a test, when you feel angry, or when you can't fall asleep.
How did that feel? Could you feel your body relax?
2. Progressive Muscle Relaxation
Body Scan
Fists: Clench tightly for 5 seconds, then relax.
Shoulders: Shrug up to your ears for 5 seconds, then drop them.
Stomach: Tighten your muscles for 5 seconds, then release.
When to use it:
When you feel restless or your body feels tense/heavy.
Which part of your body held the most tension? How did it feel to release it?
3. The Power Pose
Confidence Booster
Stand tall with feet shoulder-width apart, hands on hips (like a superhero!). Hold this for 1-2 minutes with deep breaths.
When to use it:
Before a presentation, when you need a confidence boost, or feel "small."
