Our classroom is a shared space of learning, safety, and encouragement. By upholding these five core commitments, we make sure everyone has the opportunity to thrive every day.
1. Whisper Voices
Focus & Calm
Use quiet, inside whisper voices during independent and group work time so all classmates can think, concentrate, and learn without distraction.
2. Keep Objects Safe (No Throwing)
Safety First
Treat all classroom tools, supplies, and personal items with care. Keep items securely in your hands or at your desk; never throw or toss any object.
3. Stay in Your Seat
Order & Awareness
Remain in your assigned seat during instructional and work periods unless you have teacher permission to move about the room or visit a station.
4. Use Kind and Respectful Language
Empathy & Respect
Speak with kindness, patience, and encouragement. Honor diverse ideas, listen actively, and address peers and teachers with positive words.
5. Do Your Best Every Day
Growth Mindset
Give honest effort on all activities, ask questions when you need help, and view mistakes as proof that you are stretching your mind.
