Freshman Advisory • How College Counseling Works
1. Pre-Paid with Student Fees Most Utah campuses provide 6 to 12 counseling sessions per academic year at no additional out-of-pocket cost.
2. Complete Confidentiality Under federal HIPAA and FERPA laws, your parents and professors cannot view your counseling notes without your written release.
3. Early Booking Matters Intake waitlists grow long around midterm and final exam weeks. Contact your campus clinic early in the semester!
