Our School Values: The RAISE Framework
Every student has the right to feel safe, respected, and comfortable at school. Our choices directly impact the people around us:
R Respect Protect bodies & privacy
A Achievement Keep classrooms safe to learn
I Inclusion Never humiliate anyone
S Service Help and protect our peers
E Empathy Think how others feel
Important Truth: Why "Pantsing" Is a Serious Action, Not a Prank
1. Personal Privacy & Boundaries: You own your body and your clothes. Nobody has the right to touch, grab, or pull your clothing down—and you do not have the right to do that to anyone else. Everyone deserves complete privacy.
2. Exposing Someone Is Not Funny: Pulling down someone's pants exposes their underwear or body without their permission. This causes extreme embarrassment, shame, and fear. In school rules, exposing someone like this is classified as harassment and serious misconduct.
3. Doing It for Laughs Makes It Worse: Doing this in front of other students makes the other person feel trapped and made fun of. A joke is only funny if everyone is laughing. When someone is hurt or exposed, it is harm, not humor.
1 Reflection: Personal Boundaries & What Happened
In your own words, why is pulling someone's pants down a serious violation of their personal space and privacy, instead of "just a joke"?
Look at the RAISE values above. Which values did this behavior break, and what were you thinking right before you did it?

Part 2: Empathy, Impact & Making Things Right

Putting Yourself in Other People's Shoes (Empathy) Answer honestly from each person's view
1. The Other Student: How would you feel if someone did this to you in front of others? What worries or embarrassment might they feel coming to school tomorrow?
2. Your Classmates & Friends: How does seeing someone get pantsed make other students feel worried or uncomfortable about their own safety at school?
3. You and Your Reputation: Is this the kind of person or friend you want people to know you as? Why or why not?
The 4 Parts of a Real, Sincere Apology
1. Take Ownership Say clearly what you did. Do NOT make excuses or blame anyone else.
2. Admit the Harm Say you understand how embarrassing and unfair it was for them.
3. Make a Fix Promise to respect their space, stop any talk or rumors, and never repeat it.
4. Give Them Space Understand that they need time and do not have to immediately say "it's okay."
2 Your Written Restorative Apology
Write your sincere written apology below using the 4 parts above.

My Plan for Next Time (Stopping Impulses & Doing the Right Thing)
1. My Rule for Personal Space: What simple rule will you follow every day regarding other people's bodies and clothing?
2. When I Feel Like Showing Off: What will you do to pause and stop yourself if you get an urge to do rough horseplay or try to get a laugh?
3. Standing Up for Others: What will you say or do if you see someone else trying to touch or pants another student?
Official Non-Repetition Contract & RAISE Pledge
