1. The Deep Roots (Faith & SEL)
The foundation of our tree lies below the surface, representing our inner hearts, attitudes, and connection with God. We cultivate these together:
- • Faithfulness: Trusting God and following His guidance in classroom activities.
- • Kindness: Helping others, sharing, and speaking life-giving words (Eph 4:32).
- • Self-Control: Staying focused, raising a hand, and choosing constructive actions.
2. Growing Leaves (Behavior)
When a student exhibits Christ-like character, SEL growth, or meets daily classroom expectations, they are nominated or chosen to place a leaf on the tree:
SEL Success:
Helping a friend who is hurt; encouraging someone.
Classroom Goal:
Keeping workspace neat; quick and quiet transitions.
Spiritual Growth:
Memorizing Scripture; leading a prayer with joy.
Humble Help:
