Imagine you are inside a beautiful, invisible bubble. It wraps all the way around your body.
The Golden Arm Rule:
Stretch your arm out all the way. That is the perfect, respectful space to keep between you and your neighbors!

How to Listen with our Whole Body
1. Eyes Look
We look at the person who is speaking to show we care.

We switch our ears on to capture every word.

Our mouths stay quiet until it is our turn to share.

Our hands and bodies stay resting and quiet.

Stand up with your feet wide! Stretch your arms all the way out like helicopter blades. Gently spin around. If you touch anything, step back until your bubble is perfectly safe and clear!

Respect is a superpower that helps everyone feel safe and loved. Please complete this fun activity sheet together to bring our superpower home!
Home Radar Challenge Checklist
Do these activities together and check off each star once completed!
1. Space Bubble Demonstration
Show a parent how big your personal space bubble is using the "Golden Arm Rule" (extending your arm). Have your family member do it too!
2. Super Listener Dinner
During a meal, turn on "Super Listener Mode." When a family member talks, practice keeping your body frozen, your eyes focused on them, and your ears open.
3. Household Helpful Hands
Do one kind act at home without being asked (like picking up toys, putting your shoes in the closet, or putting your cup in the sink).
4. Words of Appreciation
Say a warm "Thank you!" or "I appreciate you!" to someone in your house for making dinner or taking care of you today.
