Essential Question
"How can a consistent behavioral framework empower students to maximize their learning independence?"
Instructional Objective
Students will internalize, practice, and self-monitor the three core behavioral pillars (OT, RS, SB) to advance through a four-level autonomy system.
Targeted Behavioral Pillars
On-Task (OT)
Sustained visual and cognitive focus on academic tasks.
Respect (RS)
Prosocial interactions and adherence to prompts.
Safe Body (SB)
Physical regulation and communal space maintenance.
5-Day Rollout Strategy
Day Lesson Focus Key Instructional Activity 01 Mission Start Introduction of Level System (1-4). Sorting activity to distinguish supportive "Coaching" from "Punishment." 02 The Playbook Deep-dive definitions of OT, RS, and SB. T-Chart analysis of Examples vs. Non-Examples using student sheet. 03 In the Game Low-stakes role-play simulation. Practicing the "Fix-It" response to behavioral triggers (boredom, peer annoyance). 04 The Scoreboard Introduction of Tracker. Modeling the 2-1-0 rubric. Implementation of Check-In/Check-Out (CICO) protocol. 05 Level Mastery Guided implementation. Culminating with the Weekly Goal Reflection to set targets for independent mastery.
Differentiation
• Scaffolded Rating: Visual cues (0-2 icons) for non-readers.
• Frequent Feedback: High-density verbal reinforcement (4:1 positive-to-corrective ratio).
• Proximity Coaching: Individualized modeling for students on Level 1.
Assessment
• Formative: Daily Point Sheets (Target: 80% for advancement).
• Self-Assessment: Weekly Goal Reflection analyzed every Friday.
• Long-Term: Data-driven level reviews conducted weekly.
