Introduction & Icebreaker
Welcome students and introduce the Future Launchpad series purpose. Conduct “Two Truths and a Future” icebreaker: each student shares two facts about themselves and one post-graduation aspiration. Review today’s objectives.

Self-Assessment Activity
Distribute the Self-Assessment Worksheet.
Students reflect on strengths, interests, values, and past achievements. Encourage honest, detailed responses; circulate to support as needed. Remind them these are the "fuel" for their career rocket.

Career Interest Survey
Instruct students to access the survey on their devices. They will complete it to identify top career clusters. After finishing, have them pair up to discuss one surprising result or pattern found.

Goal-Setting Workshop
Introduce the SMART framework (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound). Distribute the template. Students draft one academic goal and one personal goal for the school year.

Share & Next Steps
Invite volunteers to share a key insight or one of their SMART goals on poster paper using markers. Summarize takeaways and preview Session 2: Exploring College & Career Options.
