Look Under the Surface (How Do You Feel?)
Anger is usually just the cover for other feelings.
A. What feeling is underneath?
Feeling left out Feeling embarrassed Feeling teased or hurt Tired of the drama
B. How have you been reacting so far?
(For example: rolling eyes, snapping back, gossiping, or ignoring them)
Honest Check: Has your past reaction made things better or worse?
Made it worse Kept it going Helped calm it down
3
Look Through Their Eyes (Their Side)
Trying to understand their side doesn't mean you agree.
If the other student talked to a teacher, what would they say happened?
What is one thing you both want? (Example: "We both want to stop getting in trouble" or "We both want space")
