Introduction
5 mins
Discuss what "respect" means. Use the Respect Rainbow Slides to provide visual examples. Ask: "What does it feel like when someone is respectful to you?" Invite students to share examples from home or school.

Activity Setup
5 mins
Explain that rainbows are beautiful because many colors work together, just like our classroom works best when we respect everyone. Show the different colored paper and explain each color will be a different respectful action.

Creating the Rainbow
15 mins
- Help students cut out colored strips.
- Hand out the Respectful Actions Cards. Students can draw the action on their strip or glue the card onto the strip.
- Glue the strips in an arch shape onto the My Respect Rainbow Worksheet.

Closure
5 mins
Display the rainbows. Review the actions included (Listening, Sharing, Helping). Challenge students to practice one action from their rainbow today!
