Part 1: Warm-Up – My Superpower Is...
"Good morning, everyone! Today, we're going to talk about something really exciting: our social superpowers ! Just like superheroes have special abilities, we all have incredible strengths that help us in our friendships and in navigating the world around us."
"To start, let's go around the circle. I want each of you to share one social skill or positive quality that you feel you are really good at. Think of it as your personal social superpower! For example, I might say, 'My superpower is listening carefully to my friends.' What's yours?"
Teacher Tip: Allow each student to share. Offer positive reinforcement and actively listen. Look for common themes to reference later.

"As you can see, social superpowers are skills that help us be great friends, understand our feelings, make smart choices, and even navigate the digital world. They are the amazing abilities we have inside us."
"Today, we're going to use a special way of thinking called 'solution-focused' thinking . It means we focus on what's working, what we want to happen, and the small steps we can take to get there."
Display Slide 3
"Let's talk about our emotions. Our feelings are like important clues! They tell us what's going on inside. When you feel happy, what clues is that emotion giving you? What about when you feel frustrated or a little sad?"

"We're not just going to talk about the problem; we're going to focus on the solutions ! For example, if a friend says something unkind, instead of just feeling sad, we can ask ourselves: 'What's one small thing I can do to make this situation better?'"
Guided Questions to Circulate with:
"What have you tried before that worked?"
"What's a small step you could take?"
"Who could help you with this?"
