Students will analyze five non-traditional post-secondary pathways and align them with personal values to draft a realistic 12-month launch plan.

Hook: The Success Spectrum
Present Slide 2. Ask students: "What does success look like at age 25?" Chart their answers. Highlight the diversity of what students value (money, freedom, fame, impact).
35 MIN
Direct Instruction: Beyond the Cap
Use the Beyond the Cap Slides to introduce each pathway. Students should use the Pathfinder Portfolio to take notes, focusing specifically on the pathway that "shocks" them or interests them most.
30 MIN
Guided Practice: Pathways Matchup
Break students into small groups (3-4). Distribute the Pathways Matchup Activity . Students must debate which path fits each scenario and justify their answers using the value icons from the slides.
40 MIN
Independent Work: The Blueprint
Students begin the Blueprint for Tomorrow Project . They choose one pathway and perform live research (using laptops/tablets) to find specific dates, costs, and organizations.

Provide a "Starter List" of 3 local trade schools and 2 military recruitment offices to reduce the research barrier during the Blueprint phase.
For Advanced Students:
Challenge them to create a "Dual-Path Blueprint"—a plan that incorporates two pathways (e.g., Gap Year followed by Entrepreneurship).
