A five-day social-emotional learning sequence for the first week of first grade. Students learn essential classroom expectations—hand-raising, active listening, sharing, kindness, and respect—through interactive slides, colorful anchor charts, and daily carpet-time pocket chart sorting activities.

Hand Raising Heroes

On Day 1 of first grade, students learn the importance of raising their hand and waiting for their turn to speak. The lesson features a slide deck with a placeholder for Mr. Mike's Hand Raising video, a printable Anchor Chart poster, and interactive Pocket Chart sorting cards.

Listening Legends

On Day 2, students explore active listening skills on the carpet, focusing on full-body listening (eyes watching, ears listening, voice quiet, body still). Includes interactive slides with Mr. Mike's video, an anchor chart, and pocket chart sorting cards.

Sharing Superstars

On Day 3, students learn about sharing and taking turns with classroom materials, toys, and partner talk. Features slide deck lessons, a printable sharing anchor chart, and carpet sorting activities.

Kindness Crew

On Day 4, students focus on performing acts of kindness and using kind words in the classroom. Includes interactive slides with Mr. Mike's Kindness songs, a kindness anchor chart, and pocket chart sorting cards.

Respect Champions

On Day 5, students explore being respectful to their teachers, classmates, and school environment. Includes a slide deck synthesizing the week's learnings, a respect anchor chart, and pocket chart sorting cards.
