A Space to Pause, Untangle, and Ground Yourself
Name:
Date:
The Spark & The Mirror: Sometimes when we feel an instant flash of "disrespect" from a female voice, it's our body trying to protect us. This worksheet is a safe space to slow down, notice what our body is telling us, and explore where that spark comes from.

Where do you feel the spark first? Check all that apply:
Clenched Jaw

Silent Boundary Phrase
"I am safe here. I hold onto my peace."
My Commitment:
"I will focus on my body before defending my pride."
3. Deep Dive: Tuning Into the Echoes
Sometimes, a tone in the present triggers a protective shield built in our past. When a female teacher, peer, or authority figure speaks and it immediately feels like "disrespect," let's look closer. Is it the actual words, or does it carry an echo of an old battle?
A. The Spark: Think of a recent moment a woman spoke to you and you felt instant disrespect. What exactly was the trigger? (Was it her tone, posture, facial expression, or feeling ordered around?)
B. The Echo: Does this specific tone or authority style remind you of anyone from your past? (A family member, a past teacher, or a past conflict where you felt unheard or controlled?)
C. Setting Boundaries: How can you gently remind yourself that this person today is not that person from your past? What is one way to keep your calm instead of reacting?
