Warm-Up: Mirrors and Windows
• Introduce the concept of self-awareness: looking in the mirror (understanding oneself) and through windows (appreciating others).
• Present slides from Mirrors and Windows Presentation.
• Ask students to share one thing they see in themselves and one thing they appreciate in a friend.

Strengths Spotlight Circles
• Arrange students in small circles of 4–5.
• Distribute Strengths Spotlight Circles prompt sheets.
• In each circle, students take turns naming a personal strength and explaining why it matters.
• Peers give positive feedback and examples of witnessing that strength using the Peer Feedback Guidelines.

My Values Reflection
• Distribute My Values Reflection Journal.
• Guide students to list 3–5 core values (e.g., honesty, kindness, bravery).
• Prompt them to write a brief reflection on why each value is important to them.
• Encourage drawing symbols or images to represent values on the creative page.

Cool-Down: One Word Check-Out
• Introduce One Word Check-Out cards.
• Ask each student to choose one word that describes how they feel after today’s lesson.
• Have students share their word and explain in one sentence.
• Collect cards for review of classroom emotional climate.
