Helpful Tips
Practice in a quiet space whenever possible.
If your mind wanders, gently bring it back to your breath.
Use this before a test, a speech, or after a long day.
Why it works
Deep breathing sends a signal to your brain to relax. It lowers your heart rate and clears the "mental fog" caused by stress hormones, helping you focus on the task at hand.
Practice makes progress. Try to do this once a day!

2. Experience with Breathing Exercises

• How will achieving this goal make you feel more prepared for your tests?
Teacher Follow-Up:
"What small steps can you take each day to work towards this goal?"
