Script:

Kind Names vs. Name Calling
"Calling a friend 'monkey' makes them feel unsafe. In our squad, we use real names. Using names helps everyone feel like a hero."
Accountability Logic
Use when he hit first but only reported being hit back (selection reporting).
"I hear that your friend hit you. That was not safe. What happened right before that? What was your body doing?"
Validate the pain of being hit back, but require the first act for a "Whole Story" report. "Honesty keeps our squad safe."
Repairing After ISS
ISS can cause a student to feel "labeled." Reframe re-entry as a hero's return.
"Yesterday was a hard day for your body. But today is a new day to be a hero. Your squad needs you to use gentle hands and keep your shoes on."
