Differentiation & Accommodations
For High-Anxiety / Dysregulated
Pre-teach sensory grounding before whole class. Allow non-verbal tactile aids (fidget band or cool water splash) during high stress.
For English Learners / Visual
Pair breathing counts with hand tracing (Finger Breathing). Use task cards with graphic icons and sentence starters provided.
Extension / Advanced
Have students write their own classroom conflict scenario card and test it against a classmate's 4-step flight plan.
