The HFLC Mission & Purpose
"The Hyde Family Leadership Council exists to strengthen the partnership between home and school by empowering families to serve as leaders, ambassadors, and advocates within the Hyde community. The Council is composed of carefully selected K-8 family leaders who have consistently demonstrated an exceptional commitment to Hyde's mission, actively contributing beyond traditional family engagement. Through their leadership, members help strengthen school culture, foster meaningful family involvement, provide valuable feedback, and champion initiatives that support student success and the growth of the Hyde community."
Origin & Evolution
The Council was born from a key insight: family involvement is most powerful when it transitions from passive participation to active partnership. Hyde's K-8 model relies on deep, multi-year alignment. HFLC was established to structuralize this alignment, giving dedicated family leaders a direct path to steward community standards, advise leadership, and build bridges for new families.
