Phase 1: Mission Briefing

- The Ground Rules:
- Teams must stay together at all times.
- No running in the hallways/classroom.
- Respect other classes that are in session.

Phase 2: The Scavenger Hunt
- Deploy Teams: Hand out task lists or card sets face down. Start the timer!
- Strategic Support: Circulate between teams. If a team is stuck, offer a "purchasable hint" (e.g., they must perform a 5-second group cheer to get a clue).
- Monitor Dynamics: Look for students who are leading, those who might be left out, and how they resolve disagreements. These are great points for the debrief.

Minutes
Phase 3: Debrief & Victory
Gather the group in a circle. Ask the following reflection questions:
Process Questions:
- How did you decide who would lead each task?
- What did you do when you disagreed on an answer?
Self-Reflection:
- When did you feel most helpful to your team?
- What would you do differently next time?
Announce the winning team and hand out prizes (if using).
Victory Ceremony
Facilitator Pro-Tips
Focus on the "community building" aspect more than the competitive aspect to ensure a positive environment.
Differentiation: For teams struggling with social cues, assign specific roles: Captain (keeps pace), Scribe (writes answers), Peacekeeper (ensures everyone is heard).
Extension: Have teams create one "Bonus Task" for another team to solve after the main hunt is over.
