This lesson engages students in game-based activities to teach anti-bullying strategies. By turning education into a "quest," students practice positive responses, reinforce teamwork, and understand the impact of bullying in an engaging way.

Stage 1: The Briefing

• Begin with a discussion on what bullying is (repeated, intentional harm with an imbalance of power).
• Ask students to share thoughts: "Why is it important to have a plan for bullying?"
• Explain today's "Quest" format: Leveling up our kindness and defense skills.

Stage 2: Encounter Scenarios
15 Minutes
Activity: Group Strategy Session
• Divide class into "Squads" (3-4 students).
• Distribute Scenario Cards . Squads must brainstorm a "Defense Move" for each situation.
• Each Squad shares one solution with the class.

Stage 3: Teamwork Challenge
15 Minutes
Activity: The Unity Puzzle
• Organize a quick task (e.g., untying a human knot or completing a timed classroom puzzle).
• Rule: Everyone must be involved for the task to be "complete."
• Discuss: "How does sticking together make it harder for bullying to happen?"

Stage 4: Hero's Reflection
10 Minutes
• Distribute the Reflection Worksheet .
• Students independently reflect on their favorite "Defense Move" and the importance of teamwork.

• Closing circle using the Discussion Guide .
• Reinforce the "Anti-Bullying Pledge": Supporting each other is the ultimate hero move.

Use this guide to lead a closing circle. The goal is to help students articulate their new "Hero Strategies" and commit to a supportive classroom environment.

What are some ways we can stand up against bullying?
Facilitator Note: Encourage students to think about assertive communication (using "I" statements) and the importance of seeking help from trusted adults.
Use a firm, calm voice

How can we support someone who is currently being bullied?
Facilitator Note: Focus on empathy. Discuss how simple acts of friendship can change a victim's experience and provide safety.
• Invite them to sit with you at lunch or play at recess.
• Tell them "It's not your fault" and "I'm here for you."
• Ask them how they are feeling and listen without judging.

What role does teamwork play in preventing bullying?
Facilitator Note: Highlight how working together creates a "Kindness Force Field." When everyone agrees bullying is uncool, it stops.
Discuss the concept of "Squad Goals." If the whole class works together, there are no "lonely targets." Teamwork builds a culture where everyone feels they belong and is protected by their peers.
