LEVEL: TOP SECRET
Agency Mission
The S.I.A. unit transforms social-emotional learning into an elite training academy. Agents (students) master high-level social skills by identifying "Brain Hacks" (ANTs) and deploying the 3-Step Social Fix . This provides the technical rigor needed for Tier 3 behavioral support while maintaining high engagement for all students.
The Agent's Protocol: 3-Step Fix
1
PAUSE (Maintain Cover)
Reset your system. Use square breathing, counting to 10, or a quick body shift. Never react on bugged intel.
2
PROPOSE (Transmission)
Transmit your solution using a scripted "I" statement or a Neutral Script to define the social malfunction.
3
PLAN (Operational Agreement)
Agree on a fair strategy for the team: set a timer, choose a compromise, or switch to a new activity.
Instructional Directives
DECODING: Frame ANTs as "Bugged Intelligence." If an agent assumes the worst, ask for the Verified Fact . "What evidence do you have for that story?"
FREEZE FRAME: During role-play simulations, yell "PAUSE!" to analyze the tactical effectiveness of a script before the conflict escalates.
DATA COLLECTION: Every Mission File includes 5 scenarios and a built-in Answer Key for measurement and immediate field feedback.

Case Study Verification Data
Case 1: They might have been busy or focused. Intel says they complimented someone else earlier—they aren't mean, just distracted.
Case 2: One glitch doesn't define a teammate. They might be having a hard time at home HQ. Ask for status before judging.
Case 3: Operational limits (car space, parent rules) often prevent full team missions. It's not a tactical replacement.
Case 4: Relocations are standard procedure. They aren't leaving because of you. Maintain link-up plans.
Case 5: Look for the "Signal Gap"—the difference between what they know and what they guess . Challenge the guess.

ANT Scenario 1: Compliments / Project
Replacement Thought: "They might have been busy or nervous about their own project. It doesn't mean mine is bad; I can ask for their opinion later."
ANT Scenario 2: Mean words
Replacement Thought: "One mean comment doesn't make someone an enemy forever. He might be having a bad day, but I will tell him I didn't like that name."
ANT Scenario 3: Park trip without me
Replacement Thought: "Maybe their parents had a car limit or it was a last-minute plan. I am still part of the group and can suggest a hangout next week."
ANT Scenario 4: Friend moving away
Replacement Thought: "Moving is a family choice, not a rejection of our friendship. We are both sad, and we can find new ways to stay close."
ANT Scenario 5: Student Choice (Example)
Scenario: "They didn't sit with me at lunch."
Key Suggestion: "The table might have been full or they were talking to someone else. I can ask to sit there tomorrow."
Instructional Tip
Encourage students to look for Evidence . If they say "They hate me," ask: "What evidence do you have? Have they been nice to you this week?"

Step 2 (Propose): "I've been waiting for a turn. Could we set a timer so it's fair for everyone?"
Step 3 (Plan): Set a 5-minute timer or agree to trade after 30 pumps.
Case #02: Stuck in the Middle
Step 1 (Pause): Remind self: "I don't have to pick a side to be a good friend."
Step 2 (Propose): "I like you both and I'm not going to get in the middle. You should talk to her yourself."
Step 3 (Plan): Suggest a new activity: "Let's go play tag instead of talking about this."
Case #03: The Compliment Gap
Step 1 (Pause): Realize friend is feeling ignored, even if I didn't mean to be mean.
Step 2 (Propose): "I'm sorry I didn't say anything! Those tricks were actually really cool. How did you learn them?"
Step 3 (Plan): Watch the trick again and give a specific compliment about their effort.
Case #04: Gossip Boundary
Step 1 (Pause): Stay calm but firm; avoid getting aggressive or name-calling.
Step 2 (Propose): "Alex is my friend and I don't think it's fair to talk about her when she's not here."
Step 3 (Plan): Walk away from the group and find Alex to do something fun together.
Case #05: Moving Away
Step 1 (Pause): Identify real feeling: "I'm sad and scared of losing my friend."
Step 2 (Propose): "I'm really sad you're leaving. I don't want our friendship to end. Can we call each other?"
Step 3 (Plan): Exchange phone numbers or set a date for a 'goodbye' gaming session.
