Say: "These are different feelings. Can you tell me what feeling this face shows?"

Spread out the Emotion Word Cards face down.
Prompt: "Let's pick a card. What does it mean to feel 'happy'?"
Student matches word card to the chart with teacher support.

Hand student the Feeling Matching Activity Sheet.
Prompt: "Find the card that matches each face and place it below the correct picture."
Guide and praise the student for each correct match.

Teacher: "Hi there! I’m so happy to see you today. We’re going to have fun talking about feelings. Everybody has feelings—like being happy, sad, or surprised—and we can learn to tell others how we feel."
Action: Give a high-five or fist bump to build rapport.

Teacher: "Look at this chart—these are different faces showing different feelings. Let’s look at the first one together."

"Hi! Today we're looking at this face." (Point to Angry face). "This face is angry. Our hearts beat fast when we're angry. Do you ever feel like a volcano about to go POP?"

Learning Dragon Breath (4 Mins)
Teacher: "When I feel like a volcano, I use my Dragon Breath. Watch me!"
Action: Deep breath in through nose, slow long exhale through mouth like a dragon blowing fire.
"Now you try! Breathe in through your nose... and blow out the fire!"
Practice this 3 times with the student.

Teacher: "When I hold this card, it's my turn to use the car." (Play with car for 10 seconds).

Practice passing the toy and the card back and forth 3-4 times.

"Let's use a timer! When the timer goes 'Ding!', we swap. I'll go first. Ready?"
Use a 30-second timer. Praise the student for waiting patiently: "I love how you're waiting for your turn!"

Guide the student to hand over a few blocks and use the phrase.

Practice walking near the student and having them say: "Please stay in your bubble" or "One step back, please."
