Phase 01: The Night Before
Armor Prep
Lay out your full outfit (including shoes and socks). Iron everything and check for lint or loose threads.
The Paper Trail
Print 3–5 copies of your resume. Pack them in a clean folder or portfolio with your list of references.
Navigation Intel
Map your route. Identify parking garages or transit stops. Aim to arrive in the area 30 minutes early.
Tactical Review
Write down 3 thoughtful questions for the interviewer. Review the company's "About" page one last time.
Phase 02: Morning Of
High-Performance Fuel
Eat a light, energizing breakfast. Avoid anything messy or that might cause a "sugar crash" later.
Detail Sweep
Double-check hygiene: fresh breath, clean nails, and neat hair. Bring mints for after your coffee.
Equipment Check
Ensure your bag has: Resumes, a working pen, a notebook, your ID, and the interviewer's contact info.
Phase 03: Arriving on Site
The 10-Minute Rule
Check in with the front desk exactly 10–15 minutes before your time. Do not arrive earlier than 15 mins.
Radio Silence
Turn your phone completely OFF. Put it away in your bag. Do not check it while waiting in the lobby.
Final Scan
Visit the restroom for a mirror check. Check your teeth, hair, and clothing. Take three deep breaths.
