In Class Today Our Flower Faces & Feelings Song Activity
Today, our little gardeners practiced making facial expressions for happy, sad, mad, surprised, scared, and worried. Each child received their own feeling flower card and matched their flower as we sang our classroom emotions song! We also added calm to practice peaceful resets together at home.

Daily Fridge Check-In
Ask at Dinner or Bedtime:
"Which emotion flower did you feel the most today?"
3 Gentle Ways to Respond:
Name It: "I see your mad flower face. Tell me what happened."
Validate It: "It is okay to feel sad or worried. All feelings belong."
Reset: "Let’s do 3 calm flower breaths together to feel safe."
