The Community
Located at 8,852 feet in the heart of the San Juan Mountains, Creede is a historic mining town turned vibrant arts and outdoor community. Creede High School serves as the educational hub for Mineral County, one of the most sparsely populated counties in Colorado. Our isolation fosters a tight-knit, resilient community where students are known by name and supported by a diverse network of local mentors.
