Team Talk Discussion Guide
Team Talk
Discussion Facilitation Guide
"Use these prompts to spark a conversation about collaboration before we dive into our Art Relay. Encourage students to listen to each other just as much as they talk!"
1
What does teamwork mean to you?
Prompt: Think about a time you worked with others. What made it successful? What was hard?
Look for: Sharing ideas, taking turns, listening, helping friends.
Challenge: Wanting to do everything your own way, not being heard.
2
Why is teamwork important?
Prompt: Can one person build a whole city or paint a giant mural alone as fast as a team?
Key Concept: Synergy. We can achieve goals together that are impossible to reach alone. Different people bring different "superpowers" to the group!
3
Share a story!
Prompt: Tell us about a time you felt proud of something your team did together.
