Students will identify and articulate their unique strengths as “superpowers,” connect them to real-world career skills, and reflect on how to leverage them for future success.
Teacher Preparation
1 Review the Strengths Discovery Roadmap to familiarize yourself with each activity phase.
2 Load and preview the Superpower Showcase Slides on your classroom display.
3 Print enough copies of the Strengths Scavenger Hunt handout for each student.
4 Print the Reflective Strengths Journal worksheet for each student.
5 Arrange desks to support both whole-group discussion and small-group work.

Superpower Warm-Up
Ask students to recall a moment they felt proud of a personal achievement.
Invite 2–3 volunteers to share what personal quality or skill made them proud.
Introduce the concept of strengths as “superpowers” that make each person unique.

Discover Your Strengths
Distribute a list of common strengths (e.g., creativity, perseverance, empathy).
Guide students to select their top five and write two additional personal strengths.
Encourage them to think about how each strength could be a superpower in daily life or work.

Strengths Scavenger Hunt
Pair up students and give each pair the Strengths Scavenger Hunt handout.
Students interview classmates to find examples of others’ strengths in action.
Pairs record at least five examples, then return to their seats.

Superpower Showcase
In small groups of 3–4, students draft one slide on the Superpower Showcase Slides template (or a paper equivalent).
Each slide highlights one student’s top superpower and a matching career or life scenario.
Invite 2–3 groups to present their findings to the class.

Hand out the Reflective Strengths Journal .
Students journal about how they felt sharing their strengths, what they learned about peers’ strengths, and future career applications.
Collect journals for feedback and encourage ongoing reflection.
