Lesson Instructions

Introduction
5 Minutes
- Begin with a simple explanation: "Respect is treating others the way you want to be treated."
- Ask students: "What is one way you can be respectful in our classroom right now?" (e.g., listening, sitting nicely).

- Show the video Story: A Little Respectful Spot.
- Discussion questions:
- What did the Spot do to show respect?
- How do kind words help us show respect?

Jeopardy Game
15 Minutes
- Divide students into 3 or 4 small groups (Teams).
- Explain: "Points are for fun! If your team knows the answer, raise your hand."
- Categories: Respect for Friends, Respect for Teachers, Classroom Rules, and Self-Respect.
- Teacher reads the questions from the Q&A sheet.
