Anime Adventure Slides Session One
Your Inner World
Adventure
Understanding your emotions, your way. Let's explore the hero within!
Teacher Notes: Welcome the student and check in. Connect with their interests (anime, art, therian). Explain that this is a safe space to explore feelings.
-01- Inner Characters
Imagine your feelings as different characters inside you.
Some are calm, some are energetic...
Some are strong, and some are a little wild!
Even intense thoughts can be understood.
Just like in your favorite anime, every hero has many sides.
Teacher Notes: Introduce the idea of emotions as characters. Use anime examples if appropriate. Emphasize that all emotions are valid.
-02- Art as Your Voice
Sometimes it's hard to talk about feelings.
Art helps you show what's happening inside.
Create a visual for an "Inner Character."
Give form to the thoughts that are tough to share.
Reference: Character Creation Worksheet
Teacher Notes: Connect to their passion for drawing. Explain how art can be a safe outlet. Refer to the Character Creation Worksheet.
-03- Quest for Calm
Equipping Your Heroes
Just like anime heroes, your inner characters need tools and strategies to succeed.
Questions to Explore:
• What helps intense emotions calm down?
• How does your Therian Identity give you strength?
"Battle moves" to clear the mind.
"Inner Sanctuaries" to rest and recharge.
Teacher Notes: Transition to coping. How can their therian identity be a source of strength? Introduce Art as a Voice Activity.
You're the Artist of your
