Welcome students and introduce the lesson: “What’s Your Inner Compass?” Explain that today we’ll explore how our personal values guide our decisions and actions.
What Is an Inner Compass?
Your set of personal values and beliefs .
Guides how you act , choose , and prioritize .

Define “inner compass” clearly. Emphasize that values are deeply held beliefs that steer behavior and choices.
Why Your Values Matter
Provide direction when making complex choices.
Shape healthy relationships and meaningful goals.

Share why understanding values boosts self-awareness. Solicit one or two student examples.
