Debrief & Oath

The "All Zones are Okay" Script
"Detectives, sometimes we think the Red Zone or the Blue Zone are 'bad' zones. But clues are just information! If it's raining outside, we don't say the weather is 'bad'—we just know we need an umbrella. Our zones are the same. All zones are okay because they tell us what we need."
Retention Strategy:
Have students repeat this while doing a 'thumbs up' gesture for every color mentioned.
Support for Memory & Retention
Visual Anchors
Keep Slide 3 (The 4 Zones) visible while students work on their worksheets. Use the colors consistently.
Multi-Sensory
When naming a zone, have students act it out. Blue: slow walk. Yellow: wiggly fingers. Red: freeze.
CBT Connection
Help them name the 'Thought' behind the feeling. "I'm thinking I can't do this, so I feel Blue."
The Motto
End every transition by saying "All zones are..." and let the students shout "OKAY!"
