Teachers will set up and customize a digital classroom portal and learn to post weekly newsletters and updates to keep families informed and engaged.

Implementation Steps

Log In to Your Portal
Navigate to your school’s portal URL. Enter your username and password to access the dashboard. If you encounter issues, use the “Forgot Password” link immediately.

Access Classroom Page
From the main dashboard, click My Classes. Select your 1st Grade class and confirm you are on the Overview tab.

Customize Your Layout
Click Settings to enter edit mode. Upload your header image or logo. Drag modules like “Weekly News” and “Resources” into your preferred order.

Create a Weekly News Section
Select Add Section → Text/Media. Title it Weekly News. Copy your draft from the Weekly Update Template and paste it into the editor.

Upload Your Newsletter
Export your finished newsletter as a PDF. In the Weekly News section, click Attach File and upload the PDF for families to download.

Publish and Notify Families
Preview your page. Click Publish to make it live. Use the notification feature to send a link to parents via email or app message.
Troubleshooting & Tips
Ensure images are under 2 MB and in .PNG or .JPG format.
Keep section titles consistent each week for parent familiarity.
Schedule a weekly reminder (e.g., Friday afternoon) for portal updates.
