My Brave Morning
A Story About School Drop-Offs
This book belongs to:
Every morning, I go to school!
School is a wonderful place where I learn, play with friends, and try new things. My teachers care about me and are so excited to see me!
1
We Travel to School Together
In the morning, I get ready and head to school with my family. We might walk, ride a bus, or take a car. We talk about the exciting day ahead!
2
A Quick, Warm Goodbye
When we reach the school door, it is time for my grown-up to go, and for me to walk inside. We say a fast, loving goodbye. A quick hug, a big high-five, or a sweet wave tells us we are ready!
"Grown-ups always come back. After my fun day at school is done, we will hug and share our stories!"

It is Okay to Feel Sad or Worried
Sometimes, my heart feels a little heavy or my eyes want to cry. That is okay! Many kids have big feelings in the morning. Even when I cry, I can still be incredibly brave.

"Be bright, clear, and extremely swift. Over-explaining or prolonged goodbyes increase anxiety. Let the cards drive the rhythm!"
