AIP Launch
Collaborative Framework
Core Mission
Collaborative, Not Punitive
The AIP meeting is designed to bring students, families, and school staff together as a supportive team.
Instead of assigning blame, we collaboratively examine root causes and co-create an actionable path forward.
Meeting Goal: To establish concrete goals & interventions that remove barriers to everyday success.
Three Pillars of the Conversation
Our Focus Areas
1. Review & Understand
Examine data and current trends to see exactly how absences are impacting overall class engagement and progress.
2. Uncover Root Barriers
Engage openly to discover why absences occur (transit, health, anxiety) and learn what supports have or haven't worked.
3. Co-Create Commitments
Define actionable roles for both home and school, and schedule review milestones to follow progress.
Every student's situation is unique—our plan is built around empathy and agency .
