The Call to Adventure (Introduction)
Introduce the theme: Words are powerful tools that can build or break our world.
Explain Responsibility : Owning the impact of what you say, even if you didn't "mean it."
Set the stage for the Quest activity: Working in guilds (groups) to solve communication puzzles.
02 10 Mins
The Scenario Challenge
Divide students into pairs or small groups (Guilds).
Distribute Scenario Quest Cards .
Groups must role-play the "Mistake" and then the "Repair" for their scenario.
Focus: How do we take responsibility? How do we fix the fallout?
03 5 Mins
Personal Reflection Map
Students work individually on the My Words Reflection Sheet .
Goal: Connect the role-play to a real-life moment they have experienced.
Prompt them to think about Empathy : How did the other person feel?
04 8 Mins
The Grand Council (Discussion)
Facilitate a class discussion using the Quest Debrief Guide .
Encourage sharing of the "Repair" strategies discovered in role-play.
Key question: Why is it often harder to take responsibility than to hide the mistake?

Return from the Quest (Closure)
Summarize: Responsible communicators are like brave explorers—they clean up their path and help others along the way. Distribute the Power Talk Checklist for students to keep in their folders.

The Broken Vault
"You told a friend a secret that wasn't yours to share. Now, the person who trusted you knows you talked."
Quest Task
Role-play the conversation where you take responsibility and try to repair the trust.
Challenge 02
The Sharp Joke
"You made a joke in front of a group that hurt someone's feelings. You meant to be funny, but they look upset."
Quest Task
Role-play how you acknowledge the hurt and apologize without making excuses.
Challenge 03
The Forgotten Promise
"You promised to help a classmate with their project, but you forgot and went to play games instead. The deadline is tomorrow."
Quest Task
Role-play taking ownership of your forgetfulness and proposing a way to still help.
Challenge 04
The Echo Chamber
"You overheard a rumor and shared it with two other people. Now the rumor has spread even further."
Quest Task
Role-play how you can 'stop the spread' and correct the misinformation you shared.

Prompt: Encourage students to reflect on the complexity of the relationships involved.
Follow-up: Why was it hard? Was it the fear of being in trouble, the difficulty of apologizing, or the feeling that you couldn't actually fix what happened?

How did your character feel the moment they realized their words caused harm?
Prompt: Discuss the physical and emotional sensations of realizing a mistake.
Follow-up: Is that feeling a 'bad' thing, or is it a helpful signal from our conscience? How can we use that feeling to take action instead of just feeling guilty?

Prompt: Guide students to brainstorm specific, actionable habits.
