Action: Gather students in a circle on the rug. Project Slide 1. Hand out the Mood Meter Check-In or point to the classroom poster.
🗣️ Teacher Script: "Good morning, friends! Look at my face today. I have a big smile and my eyes are super crinkly! How do you think I feel? Yes, I am happy! Today, we are going to meet our 'Feeling Faces'. We all have feelings, and our bodies tell us what they are! How do you feel right now? Point to a face on our Mood Meter!"

Action: Use Slides 2-5 to systematically introduce each core feeling face. Model the faces exaggerating your expressions, and have children copy you.

Show big smile, high eyebrows, light bounces.
