Learning Objective
Students will learn and practice three essential life skills—time management, organization, and effective communication—through interactive instruction and hands-on activities, and will set a personal goal for applying one skill.
Preparation (10 min)
Review charts, checklists, and roleplay cards.
Print materials for student groups.
Set up 3 stations: (A) Time, (B) Org, (C) Comm.
Prepare reflection journals and exit tickets.

Warm-Up Discussion
Ask: "What are life skills, and why do we need them?" Record responses. Introduce today's focus skills.

Direct Instruction
Display Time Management Tips Chart; discuss prioritizing.
Review Organization Checklist; explain sorting strategies.
Explain listening/speaking tips using Roleplay Cards.

Rotate groups every 3–4 minutes.

Instructions
Check each item when you have completed organizing that area or item.
School Bag
Remove old papers and notebooks.
Sort books by subject.
Store supplies (pens, pencils, erasers) in pouches.
Label all items with your name.
Locker
Use shelves and hooks to organize.
Group similar items together (books, gym clothes).
Keep heavy items at the bottom.
Place frequently used items at eye level.
Desk
Clear away trash and unnecessary items.
Arrange books, notebooks, and folders neatly.
Keep only daily supplies (pencils, planner) on top.

In pairs, one student takes the Speaker role and the other the Listener . Read the scenario and follow the guidance. Swap roles after each card.
Card 1: Asking for Clarification
Scenario
You didn’t catch all the instructions for the homework assignment.
Speaker
Politely ask your classmate to repeat and explain the steps you missed.
Listener
Paraphrase what you heard and ask one follow-up question to ensure you understood.
Card 2: Sharing Ideas
Scenario
You have an idea for a classroom decoration project.
Speaker
Clearly present your idea, including why it would benefit the class.

Summarize the idea back to your partner and ask one question to help improve it.
Card 3: Resolving a Disagreement
