As childcare professionals, you are legally designated as Mandated Reporters. You must immediately report any suspected child abuse, neglect, or serious injury.
Immediate Reporting Rule
Call state Child Protective Services (CPS) first, then inform the Center Director. Do not delay your report to conduct internal investigations.
