A Tasty Bone
A Dog was happily running home. He carried a prized bone from the butcher shop. He ran across a small wooden bridge over a quiet, still river.

The Dog stopped and looked down. The river was as smooth as a mirror. He saw his own reflection, but he thought it was another dog holding an even bigger bone!

A Foolish Splash
The greedy Dog snapped at the water to steal the bigger bone. Splash! He dropped his real bone, and it sank to the bottom. The other dog vanished. He stood on the shore with nothing left.
