Intervention Premise: This student learns spelling-sounds directly through the SIPPS core curriculum. The objective of this parallel intervention is to secure **Letter Names** (ay, em, tee) using the same visual sound-spelling wall-card mnemonics so they do not cause cognitive dissonance.

Explicit Scripted Dialogue (Letter Name Focus)
Step 1: Teach Letter Name
Teacher: "This letter is a. Its name is A (ay). Say its name: A." (Student: "A") "Good! To help us remember its name, look at the cat resting at the chair. The sound is /a/ as in at, but the letter's name is A. Show me the action and say its name!"
Step 2: Trace and Name
Teacher: "Now trace the shape with your finger. Every time you trace, say the letter's name A (ay) out loud!"
Corrective Feedback Loop (Letter Name focus)
If the student gives the *sound* instead of the *letter name* (a common memory deficit trait):
Validate & Redirect: "Yes, /a/ is its sound. But what is this letter's **NAME**?"
Mnemonic Link: "It's shaped like the cat at the chair. Its name is **A**."
Re-test: "Say its name: **A**."
