Kip is a quick red fox. Kip sat on a big log in the hot sun. He saw a black box stuck in the wet mud. A pink tag was on top of the box. Why was the box in the mud? Kip ran fast to check. He did tap, tap, tap on the brass lock with a twig. Snap! The lid fell off with a clack. Kip had a big shock! In the box, Kip saw a red ring and a flat map. The map had a path to a lost chest by the duck pond. Ben the pup ran up to help. "Look at this map!" said Kip. The two pals ran past the tall grass to find the lost chest!
