SKILL 01
One-Step Directions: The 3 Core Clues
Listen For All Three
Every clear direction carries three secret pieces. Break the sentence apart in your brain:
Clue 1
The Action (Verb)
What is your body doing?
"Place", "Open", "Fold"
Clue 2
The Object (Item)
What tool are you using?
"Blue folder", "Pencil"
Clue 3
The Target (Where)
Where does it belong?
"Top-right desk corner"
Decoded Example:
"Place your blue folder on the top-right corner."
Rule: Complete this one task fully before touching anything else. 100% Accuracy First
GUIDED DRILL 01
Quick-Reaction Challenge
Wait For The Teacher Signal!
Listen to your teacher read each challenge. Freeze until you hear: "3, 2, 1, ACT!"
A
"Silently place your left hand flat in the center of your desk."
Check yourself: Left hand? Flat? In the center? Silent?
Target: Position
B
"Touch both elbows together and look directly at the classroom clock."
Check yourself: Did your eyes track to the clock without turning your chair?
Target: Focus
C
"Make a thumbs-up sign and hold it against your chest without speaking."
Check yourself: Is your voice completely quiet? Is the thumb against your chest?
Target: Self-Control
Did everyone freeze until the command was finished? If yes, award 100 points!
Precision > Speed
SKILL 02
Listening Cues: The Order Code
Words That Tell The Order
Straight Order Words
These words follow normal timeline order: do what you hear first, first!
FIRST
NEXT
THEN
Example: "First open your book, then write the date."
Easy Mode: Actions match sentence order
The Reversal Trap Words
Danger alert! These words flip the timeline around. Listen closely!
BEFORE
AFTER
Trap: "Before you stand up, close your folder."
You must CLOSE your folder BEFORE standing!
Whenever you hear BEFORE, stop and find which action must happen first! Timeline Decoded
SKILL 03
Multi-Step Directions: Memory Stacking
Holding 2 or 3 Steps in Memory
1. Finger Anchors
Put up 1 finger for step one, 2 fingers for step two. Your hands become your checklist!
Finger 1 = Cap marker
Finger 2 = Close book
2. Whisper Chunking
Cut a long 15-word instruction down into just 2 or 3 power words to whisper in your mind.
"Cap... Close... Stand."
Short, fast, memorable.
3. Don't Skip Ahead
Finish Step 1 with 100% completion before starting Step 2. Don’t rush half-finished jobs!
One done, next begun.
Order keeps you calm.
Working Memory Rule: Keep your internal brain tape playing until all steps finish.

What If You Miss a Direction?
Smart Decoders Never Panic
1. Check The Board
Look up at the whiteboard or presentation screen. Did the teacher write the page number or steps down?
Visual radar first!
2. Look At Neighbors
Silently scan 2 classmates next to you. What book are they opening? What color tool are they holding?
Silent peer clues
3. Calm Teacher Signal
Still unsure? Raise your hand quietly and ask:
"Could you please repeat step two?"
Ask specific questions!
Never shout out: "WHAT ARE WE DOING?!" — it breaks the focus of the whole room.
