Process Overview
The Report Card Committee met regularly to develop standards-based report cards (SBRCs) for grades K–5. Two members per grade level collaborated to create their respective report cards, ensuring direct alignment with grade-level standards. This work focused on improving clarity, consistency, and accuracy for all families.
Dropdown Options
Implemented a "N/A" option for teachers when a standard is not addressed during a trimester, improving report accuracy and transparency for parents.
Section Naming
Removed "Performance" from the "Performance/Effort" section to prevent redundancy, as academic performance is already captured by numerical scores.
Effort Rating Language
Revised descriptors for clearer, more family-friendly communication.
