Coordinate with your home campus Special Education Coordinator (SEC) to construct and lock in your daily service schedule.

Complete English Language Observation Forms
Input and finalize all required language proficiency observation forms for monitored students directly on Ellevation.
Due Friday September 25th
Distribute Official Initial Placement Letters
Send official physical and electronic placement notifications to families of newly identified MLs via email and hard copies. CC Sheila Watley.
Critical WIDA Testing Protocol Differences
Before January 1st
- Kindergarten: Specific 1:1 test, half duration (L/S only).
- Grade 1: Specific 1:1 test, full paper booklet (L/S/R/W).
- Grades 2-3: Writing paper booklet, other modules online.
After January 1st
- Kindergarten: Full 1:1 paper booklet (L/S/R/W).
- Grade 1: Fully online administration in group.
- Grades 1-3: Writing paper booklet, other modules online.
Rule for Grades 2-12: Always test one grade level below their current grade during early fall screener (e.g. 2nd grader gets 1st grade booklet).
