A Visual Guide to My Big Day
Knowing what to expect helps me feel calm and ready. Here is what my day will look like:
1. Getting Ready
I wake up on time. I wash my face and brush my hair. I put on my professional clothes that I picked out last night.
2. Traveling
I take my bus, train, or car. I arrive 10 minutes early. This gives me time to breathe and be ready.
3. Checking In
I walk inside. I tell the person at the desk: "Hello, my name is _____. I am here for an interview."
4. The Talk
I sit in a chair. I talk to the manager. I answer their questions and show them my strengths. It is just a conversation.
5. Saying Goodbye
I say "Thank you for meeting me." I leave the building. I feel proud because I did my best!
6. Resting
I go home. I rest. Later, I send a short thank-you note to the person I met.
