BLUEPRINT
Mastering brushing, flossing, and maintenance for a healthy smile and professional confidence.
MODULE: DENTAL CARE TARGET: DAILY HABITS
SLIDE 1/5
THE IMPACT: Cavities & Breath
SLIDE 2/5
Biological Health
Stopping Cavities
Plaque is a sticky coating of bacteria that feeds on sugar. If not brushed away, it destroys enamel and creates painful cavities.
Poor teeth hygiene can lead to severe gum disease and heart inflammation.
Social Living
Fresh Breath & Confidence
Brushing removes old food particles that cause odor. It keeps your teeth looking clean and helps you feel highly confident when talking or smiling.
Fresh breath makes social interactions, school, and work interviews positive.
Target: Clear and professional oral health Next: Brushing Mechanics
THE BRUSHING PROTOCOL: 2 Minutes
SLIDE 3/5
RULE 1
4 Quadrants
Divide your mouth into 4 zones: Top-Right, Top-Left, Bottom-Right, Bottom-Left. Spend 30 seconds scrubbing each zone.
30 seconds per section
CRITICAL TECHNIQUE
RULE 2
Brush at 45°
Angle the brush bristles toward the gum line. Use gentle circular motions. Do not scrub too hard, or gums will bleed.
circular motion is best
RULE 3
2x Daily
Brush every single morning after waking up, and every single night before sleep. Skipping night brushing ruins your teeth while you sleep.
Every single day
Key Tool: Soft toothbrush & fluoride paste Next: Flossing Protocol
THE FLOSSING BLUEPRINT: Inside the Gaps
SLIDE 4/5
Why brushing isn't enough
Toothbrush bristles cannot reach the tight spaces between your teeth. Food and plaque get trapped there, causing decay and bad breath.
Flossing protects 35% of your tooth's surface that a brush misses.
Step-by-Step Flossing
1 Use about 18 inches of floss or a dental floss pick.
2 Gently slide floss between teeth. Do not snap it!
3 Curve the floss in a "C" shape around each tooth and slide up/down.

MODULE: BATHING TARGET: INDEPENDENT SHOWERING
SLIDE 1/5
THE WHY: Sweat, Oils, & Confidence
SLIDE 2/5
Dermatology
Sweat & Skin Health
During puberty, your body produces more sweat and sebum (oils). If left on the skin, they mix with bacteria and create unpleasant body odors.
Showering washes away dead skin, dirt, and oil to prevent breakouts and rashes.
Social Health
Feeling Fresh & Energized
Showering keeps you smelling clean, looking presentable to friends and teachers, and boosts your mood in the morning or after exercise.
Daily hygiene is crucial for holding jobs, working with peers, and building relationships.

FRESH START
BLUEPRINT
Understanding body changes, deodorant routines, and social awareness for the modern young adult.
MODULE: DEODORANT TARGET: INDEPENDENT GROOMING
SLIDE 1/5
THE SCIENCE: Sweat & Growth
SLIDE 2/5
Growth Phase
Apocrine Sweat Glands
As teenagers grow into young adults, specialized sweat glands activate in the underarms. This sweat is thicker and naturally attracts bacteria, causing odor.
Sweating is 100% normal and healthy. Managing odor is how we stay fresh.
Social Cues
Detecting Odor
It can be difficult to smell our own body odor. This is called "olfactory fatigue." Developing a daily application routine prevents odor before it starts.
Using deodorant daily shows respect for classmates and teammates.
Focus: Self-Awareness & Respect Next: Deodorant vs. Cologne
THE CONTRAST: Deodorant vs. Cologne
SLIDE 3/5
ESSENTIAL
Deodorant / Antiperspirant
Applied directly to skin. It stops sweat or neutralizes the actual odor-causing bacteria under arms. Essential for everyday hygiene.
MUST BE APPLIED DAILY
Cologne / Body Spray
Sprayed over clothes. It does not stop sweat or bacteria. Over-spraying causes breathing issues and headaches for others.
NEVER REPLACES SHOWERING or DEODORANT
Key takeaway: Never try to cover up sweat with spray Next: Application Protocol
THE APPLICATION BLUEPRINT: 3 Rules
SLIDE 4/5
RULE 1
Dry Skin
Apply deodorant to clean, dry underarms. The best time is right after a shower and towel dry.
Do not apply on wet skin
SWEPING MOTION
RULE 2
2 to 3 Swipes
Roll the dial up slightly so deodorant is visible. Swipe up and down 2 to 3 times in the center of your underarm.
Firm pressure, full coverage
RULE 3
Daily Timing
Apply every morning before getting dressed. Reapply after gym class or active physical work.
Make it a wake-up routine
Action step: Roll dial down and put cap back on Next: Choosing Your Style
CHOOSING: Solids, Gels, & Fragrance
SLIDE 5/5
PRODUCT TYPES
White Solids go on dry but can leave residue on black clothes. Clear Gels dry invisible but feel cool. Find what feels comfortable for you.
