1
Once upon a time, there was a sweet young girl. Everyone called her Little Red Riding Hood because she always wore a bright red velvet cloak. She lived with her mother in a cosy cottage next to a big, green forest.
2
One sunny morning, her mother packed a wicker basket. Inside the basket was some warm, sweet bread. "Please take this to your grandmother," her mother said. "She is feeling sick. Stay on the safe forest path!"
3
Little Red Riding Hood skipped happily down the path. Suddenly, a big grey wolf stepped out from behind the trees. He asked her where she was going. She told him she was visiting grandmother's cottage.
4
The wolf had a sneaky plan. He ran fast ahead of her to get there first! Grandmother's cottage sat deep in the forest, right under three large oak trees. The wolf wanted to play a trick on them.
5
In the end, a brave woodcutter heard a noise and rushed inside. He chased the scary wolf away. Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother hugged each other tightly. They were safe and happy.
